The worst part of being sick is feeling restless and not be able to focus on anything ;/
the good part is skipping work, yay! 8 day weekend starting tuesday!
I've been getting an urge to draw again, its been like 5 months since last time i seriously took up the pen..
Been doing some random doodles where i start with one line and add another million while waiting for airship, repops etc. I dont know if i can call them doodles but thats what they are

| April 2005 Anime season, reviewed! |

So with april over the new animes for this season have all started airing in japan now. The theme seems to be towards post apocalyptic earth, the 80's, transforming mechs and Gonzo taking over the anime buisses o_o;
Among the larger number of new series i've become fond of 5 shows, 3 of which are produced by Gonzo (Last Exile, Peace maker kurogane, Samurai 7, Full metal panic, Final Fantasy:Unlimited, Hellsing etc...).
The new show by Bones (Wolf's rain, Cowboy Bebop: knocking on heavens door, Full metal alchemist, Scrapped princess...) called Eureka Seven shows lots of promise and is easily the prettiest show in a long time... And finally Sousei no Aquarion. Aquarion has a pretty leet team but has not lived up to the expectations, but still pretty entertaining >_>
Eureka Seven
Set in an unkown place in an unknown future or something where they have found a way to "surf" on waves in the air huge transforming mechs surf and fight in the sky. Sounds pretty silly but Bones have actually made done a good job of making it a decent setting for the 14 year old protaganist. Renton (lawl) reminds me of Naota from FLCL for more than one reason... he hates his town and is narrating the show with that pillows soundy rockmusic in the background. For a mech anime this show has it all... A legendary robot piloted by a young chick, some evil superpower military organization, a dead father who is mixed up in it all as a hero and cockpit scenes. (Atleast its not set in space, which is nice)
Even with a load of cliches Bones always seem to do a good job with characterations and this show has excellent characters with sublte traits, like the grandfather who starts snorting when he gets upset ;D While i usually dislike mecha animes i really like this one from the very start, maybe because it owns and everyone should check it out.

ZM4 is owned. got half of the fragments for ZM5 too. not bad for a night when i thought i was gonna work but thanks to a holiday i had forgotten about was sent home just in time for Meatwall mission action. good times. I'm glad i got to join eventhough im still only lvl60... But a mithra warrior is hardly (|Too weak|) for this, nyan.
Now if only my shit would sell i can take gold to 28 and afford food to lvl again >_> freaking expensive sushi. cant wait to wear my amemit mantle. |

I feel like i accomplished stuff today
first in ffxi i've been meaning to use the skeleton keys materials ive been stocking up on and suddenly skeleton keys jumped from 50k to 70k per stack. That made me drop plans on skilling wood today and head out digging for chicken bones and i made two stacks of keys on the field with stuff for another 2 stacks on me now. Haubergeon is getting closer every day ...and further away the next ._.
IRL ive been feeling a bit like a pale bum after winter and no working out so i did some working on pigment had a nice workout after which im exhausted. im gonna be sore tomorrow.
Got devil may cry 3 today too. First of the three i've played and to be honest i was a bit dissapointed. It did not fill the room left after i finished ninja gaiden :(! |

Owned the boss in Promy Dem tonight and thus completing chapter one of CoP missons. The meadows are really nice :}
For second time in a row we had un-spawning memory receptacles on 2nd floor and had to wait for 2 hours before we could go to 3rd >:[
In any case, i feel accomplished now and excited about the upcoming missions :) |

Still not completely sure what to do about ffxi. I feel that now that im free from its evil clutches its probably best to not return until i actually want to. I'm not ready to quit yet, i still want to roam ronfaure as nubby rdm who's never handled mp before and i have lots of stuff to craft. The upper lvl stuff bores me and i dont like that. There will be no character deletage just yet but im pretty busy with stuff to prevent me from logging on atm. |

Spent about an hour or so renaming mp3 folders today. The mess from torrent downloading albums caused stress so it had to be done. Now its all neat and tidy the way i like it :)
Also made me a new avatar. L from the most terrific manga Death note.
aka i've been very bored today. first day of the year and nothing to do but watch dvds and ass around. Eddie Izzard is hillarious. Loved the Southpark ep about Paris Hilton, she really is a spoiled whore and i cant stand that bitch. |

In case whomever it may concern havent noticed im sorta taking a break with ffxi at the moment. 3 reasons, its empty and sad, i'm playing some other games and i need time not spent in vanadiel to work on christmas gifts and birthday presents. Being a bit of a crafty person i tend to make customized items rather than go out and buy shit. i hate shopping. except online. bought me a kilo of super sculpey clay from some art supply shop today that i will synth into a pair of fabulous sculptures by january 13th (hopefully). last years attempt was pretty good for a first try but the wax i used is crap for what i tried to make this is what that looked like at one point. so thats gonna be fun.
And tomorrow i'm going to see if i can find some textile color worthy of being used in the local artsy store. for the one thats always dressed in a cartoony shirt i'm gonna try and make a shirt with this picture i'm drawing for the occation. i think that would turn out good with the print-out-iron-on kinda thing for the scetchy bit and then paint on top of that. i really havent drawn anything in a over a year but now that i suddenly have my hands off the keyboard i'm getting all creative again. mmorpgs really are a thing of evil, but a major distraction and therapy for those who needs >_>
in other news i hate snow, worry for my middle finger which i fear i might have overcracked and now feels like its cracked, THPS4 is fun, i never get enough sleep, there is alot of suckage going around, i'm hungry and sleepy, i've done some christmas decorating, the sun is up and i'm going to bed |
